| Information | Paint the Town began in 1995 when ARCAC needed a unique way to fund-raise for the organization. This popular event draws onlookers and art buyers from around Atlantic Canada and beyond. Emerging and established artists from across Nova Scotia find a special spot that inspires them to paint, sculpt, carve, photograph or sketch. Spectators can meet the artists at work while watching the creative process unfold on the boardwalk, the wharf, at Fort Anne National Historic Site, and the Historic Gardens. It has grown to 80 artists from the US and Canada! In 2020, Paint the Town celebrates it's 25th anniversary with a re-imagined event, honouring Paint the Town in a very special way: 25 years, 25 artists, 25 works of art and an online party that lasts 25 days!
