Information  
Wild Roots Nature Education Centre was developed to increase nature awareness in youth.  
 
The programs provide fun, safe, adventurous and practical learning in a natural exploratory setting.  
 
We follow the Outdoor Council of Canada guidelines for event planning and group management to ensure event safety and quality. http://www.outdoorcouncil.ca/ 
 
Wild Roots offers nature-based education programs in the following formats: 
- Day Camp - 8 hours 
- After School Program - 2.5 hours 
- Library Camps - 2 to 3 hours 
- Week Camp - 8 hours for 5 days (Monday to Friday) 
- Guided Interpretive Hike (any age) - 3, 5 or 8 hours 
- Overnight Camps - multiple days
