Information The County of Annapolis and Hike NS are partnering to offer three winter snowshoeing hikes in Annapolis County. This is a free event but pre-registration is required. Please visit our website (www.annapoliscounty.ca) or contact Nadine to register.  
 
French Basin Trail - We’re kicking the series off with a magical moonlight hike! We have partnered with the Town of Annapolis to offer this spectacular evening. Join us for a fun night of snowshoeing, hot chocolate and warming your hands by the bonfire. Meet in the parking lot at 112 Prince Albert St. Snowshoes provided. This hike is rated Easy. 
 
Cornwallis Interpretative Trail - Discover the wooded wonderland behind Cornwallis Park while enjoying this interpretative trail. This is a wooded landscape with some hilly sections. We’ll be meeting at the top of S. Broadway Ave., Cornwallis Park. Snowshoes provided. This trail is rated Moderate. 
 
Mersey River Chalets - We are thrilled to be invited to Mersey River Chalets to partake in their beautiful walking trails. Enjoy your time in this quiet and solitary setting. There is also an option to lengthen the hike if we wish! We’ll meet at 315 Mersey River Chalets Rd., Caledonia. Snowshoes provided. This trail is rated Easy.
