| Information |  Nestled between the North & South Mountains within this historic Town and the picturesque Western Annapolis Valley, the Bridgetown Baptist Church [est. 1801/building 1891] has a two century-plus tradition of "bridging generations" & "spanning the divide" with the light, life and love of Christ. Part of the 107 year-old Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches since its founding, we uphold the historic Christian faith and teachings, centering on the life and work of Christ and the reliability of the Bible. We also strive to faithfully teach and share the gospel in fresh terms and creative ways with folks of all ages and faith backgrounds. Our worship services blend classic and modern hymns, familiar Christian choruses, special sacred and gospel pieces led by our Bridgetown Baptist choir, organists, pianists, soloists and other instrumentalists; themed Scripture readings and prayer. This is complemented by topical and biblical messages, linked to the Christian Year, seasonal calendar and current events. |
