Information  
The objects of the Annapolis County Trail Society: 
 
To work with the Nova Scotia Department of Natural resources and other levels of Government, trail organizations and individuals to develop, maintain and operate a trail system within Annapolis County and along the former Dominion Atlantic Railway DAR) as part of the Trans Canada Trail, and encourage a good neighbor policy whenever possible. 
 
To educate and promote the benefits of the trails in a manner that attempts to provide the maximum enjoyment and well being of the local residents, visitors and trail users, and to endeavor to minimize the issues that may impact on adjacent property owners. 
 
To communicate, cooperate and develop an appropriate partnership with other trail associations and stakeholders, and to explore additional linkages and opportunities in the establishment of other trail systems that will compliment a trail network through out the region.
Meetings 4th Thursday of each month at the Municipal Building in Lawrencetown at 7:30PM. 
Anyone is welcome to attend.
