| Information | Volunteer Opportunities The Canadian Red Cross' Health Equipment Loan Program (HELP) offers mobility, independence, safety and dignity to people recovering from illness/surgery or those wishing to spend their final days in their own homes. We are currently seeking volunteers to support our Health Equipment Loan Program (HELP). HELP lends out health equipment such as wheelchairs or walkers, free of charge, to patients for up to six months. We are currently seeking both Client Service Volunteers and Volunteer Technicians. Client Service Volunteers process referral forms, loan out the medical equipment from our depot and respond to client communications/inquiries.
