Information  
Owned and operated by Nova Scotia Girl Guides, Hardwood Lake is 60-plus years old, located in Lake Paul. 
 
Site features include a cottage, lodge with 30 bunks and kitchen, boat house, covered kitchen/work shelter, grass and wooded areas for tenting, hiking trails and a sandy, life-guarded (in season) beach. 
 
Primarily used by Girl Guides, it is available for various site rentals year-round. 
 
Canoes/ rowboats with paddles/ oars and plenty of various sized PFDs are available on site for your enjoyment.
