The After the Bell program focuses on providing opportunities for physical activity to youth in junior high, with a priority on teenage girls (*though the programs are not exclusively for females). Research shows that physical activity declines in adolescent youth, particularly in middle school-aged girls (12-14 year olds).
Yoga for Teens is a FREE 8-week program that aims to provide a welcoming environment where teens can learn about yoga, get some exercise and share successes with the group.
Sessions are taught by a certified yoga instructor.
Students must register in order to take part. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to receive the registration and waiver form, or for more information.
